Founder
CEO and Founder
BLW was founded and launched by Dennis in September 2017. Over the years, Dennis has established a remarkable network of senior executives and business owner contacts covering many parts of the world.
Dennis has held leadership positions in blue chip multinational corporations, including Singapore Telecommunications, IBM, Hewlett Packard and DataCard Corporation. He also was a Director at one of the largest executive search and recruitment firms in North America.
In 2010, Dennis took on the role of CEO and co-founder of Executives’ Global Network (Hong Kong), a business platform for senior executives to learn and share wisdom, experience and knowledge. Between 2010 to 2016, Dennis also had the demanding role of chairing several confidential business forums for CEO groups.
A graduate from Western University in Canada with an Honors Degree, Dennis was awarded a gold medal for the highest standing in his faculty.
Advisory Board
Eugene joined the Surbana Jurong Group on 1 January 2017 as Senior Director, Group CEO’s office, to spearhead and oversee the Group’s special projects and strategic initiatives, in particular, the Group’s Key Account Management Office, Digital Management Office, and Sustainability and Resilience Office. He is also a Director on the Boards of Threesixty Cost Management and Threesixty Contract Advisory and an Adjudicator in the Singapore Mediation Centre. In 2020, he took office as the Managing Director of Surbana Technologies, the Smart Cities arm of the SJ Group.
Eugene graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (1st Class Hons) from the University of Reading in 1999 and a BSc in Technology Management and Computing (1st Class Hons) from the University of Portsmouth in 2002. He also completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Construction Law and Arbitration from the joint NUS and Kings College London programme, an MSc in Sustainable Building Design from the University of Nottingham, and the Senior Management Development Program from Harvard Business School.
Apart from his experience in Quantity Surveying, Eugene injects sustainability, value management and green approaches into his work to achieve project efficiency. He is passionate about resilience in cities and how digital and technology can be leveraged to help citizens in these cities have better quality of lives. He is a Green Mark Accredited Professional and Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional and is knowledgeable in the field of sustainable buildings and infrastructure.
Eugene works on enhancing productivity in Design and Construction and research on Computational BIM, Visualisation and Imaging and other productivity enhancement topics for the Surbana Jurong Group. His effort has won him several awards, including the RICS Construction Professional of the Year (2019), the Advance Certificate in Learning Program from the Institute of Adult Learning as well as the qualification on the ISO 19650 for BIM and Collaboration. He and his team are continuously embellishing the SJ’s platform Common Data Environment platform called 24K , ever increasing its capabilities for City’s’ Services.
Passionate about teaching, Eugene is also a Lecturer at the Department of Building, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore for the Masters of Project Management and is an avid speaker on Construction and related topics. In his free time, Eugene volunteers in the National Youth Achievement Award as the Vice Chairman of the Council as well as the VCF Committee in NCSS.
I agreed to take up this role so that I can share my knowledge on Smart Cities, Sustainability and Resilience , Digital and my Core discipline in Quantity Surveying and Project Management. I believe in giving back to society what the society has molded and shaped me. I would not say I am an expert hence I am here to learn from others who have walked before me and along side of me.
Chairman & Founder, RCP
Robert Chua started his TV career in Australia at the age of 17 and after spending a short stint with Singapore RTS made Hong Kong his home. In 1967 at the age of 21, he helped launch TVB Hong Kong’s first terrestrial TV Channel and created the longest-running ‘live’ variety show ‘EYT’ (Enjoy Yourself Tonight 歡樂今宵), the first “Miss Hong Kong Pageant” 香港小姐, and the first Charity Marathon ‘live’ show 慈善脤災義演. In 1979, his company ‘Robert Chua Production House Company Limited’ became the first Media Company in the world to enter the Chinese TV market. He secured China’s first “TV Time Check on CCTV”, represented and sold TV air-time, produced and distributed foreign programs to China. In 1994 he founded a satellite channel CETV to broadcast across China. In late 2003 he sold his entire CETV stake to his partner Time Warner to concentrate on pioneering the world’s first ‘cross-media’ interactive channel TIC (The Interactive Channel) that was awarded the AFDESI 2006 “Best International Interactive Enhanced Television Award” in Cannes, in mid-2007, TIC focused on “Health & Lifestyle Channel” and created the ‘cross-media’ interactive ‘Health & Lifestyle Channel’ (HLC). All its live’ shows simulcast over the Internet / Mobile to enhance TV viewers and Internet users viewing experience. In recent years, he ventured into the “Food & Beverage” industry and opened Singapore’s most
successful restaurant chain ‘Tim Ho Wan in 2013 as its Asia-Pacific Master Franchisor followed by Master Franchisor of Kam’s Roast Restaurants in 2016, founded ‘Joy Luck Teahouse’ in 2020, and in 2021 founded ‘Sinstant’ that promotes ‘Ready to Eat’ products from Singapore. He was a Board member of “RTHK Board of Advisors”, NATPE (USA), Committee member of the Advisory Board of ‘Rose d’Or Festival’ (Switzerland), Board of Governors of the ‘Banff TV Festival’ (Canada), Honorary Committee member of the ‘Monte Carlo TV Festival and Advisor to “Monaco Media Forum” (Monaco), Board member of ‘FRAPA’ (Germany), Consultant to ‘Shanghai Oriental TV Entertainment Channel and “Channel Young” and Guest Professor of ‘News and Media Studies’ Nanjing University, (China).

Miranda Tang is the Managing Director of Dream Matcher Limited, an advisory firm in assisting start-ups and SMEs’ growth strategies. Prior to Dream Matcher, Miranda was the Managing Director of CLSA Capital Partners and Fund Head of ARIA, a series of pan-Asia growth and expansion capital funds. She joined CLSA in 1995 and had over 20 years of private equity, financing and operational expertise in China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. CLSA Capital Partners is the asset management arm of CLSA Securities with AUM of over US$3 billion. Investment focus was primarily on consumer sectors and demographic trends.
Miranda started her career with E&Y as a tax accountant in the US. She later joined Century City Group, a publicly Hong Kong listed company and worked on project and corporate finance in real estate, hotel development and management projects in the US, HK and China.
Miranda is a CPA and is a member of AICPA and HKICPA and a Fellow Member of HKSI. She currently sits on the Membership Committee of HKSI and a Committee Member of Hong Kong Start-up Support Group.
Miranda obtained her MBA degree (graduated with Top Scholastic Award) and BSBA degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Denver, Colorado.
Miranda has been a guest lecturer / speaker for many events, seminars and workshops at HKUST, HKU, CU, Yonsei University, Shantou University, Institute of Compliance Officers, Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy, HKVCA and AVCJ conferences on topics related to private equity, business development, growth strategies, digitalization, crisis management, business ethics, portfolio management and women in PE and the financial industry. She also engages in various mentorships and elderly care charity programs.
For leisure, Miranda enjoys travelling, food, yoga, pilates and reading. Her interest is in consumerism, Asia aging and youth development.
I have been meeting many interesting business leaders and owners and entrepreneurs through BLW network. By taking on this new advisory board role, I hope to take a more comprehensive and cohesive approach in enriching like-minded people to further business and professional development.
Kisub is currently the Chairman of the Board of Mirakle51 which is a unique service platform for early-to-mid stage ventures and provides reevaluation, reassessment, diagnosis and treatment via in-field experts, mentors, EIR (entrepreneur in residence) and partnership networks.
He has been the Founder and CEO of Kainos Medicine since 2007.
He was the special partner and an investment advisor to Altos Venture, a US-based $200M investment firm from 2003 to 2007.
Between 2003 and 2007, he was the Founder and CEO of GCT Semiconductor Inc., USA which manufactured RF-Base Band, a key component in mobile communications technology, with operations in Silicon Valley and a 200-staff R&D center in Seoul.
He co-founded Silicon Image Inc., USA in 1994 and successfully managed its IPO listing on the NASDAQ in 1999.
Prior to this, he also successfully founded his semiconductor distribution company in the USA and represented multiple US-manufactured products for export to Korea.
He also held various management positions at Hanwha Engineering & Construction and Hyundai Engineering & Construction.

Dr. Chow Pok Yu, Augustine is currently the Chairman of Harmony Asset Management Limited.
Dr. Chow’s qualifications include a MSc from London Business School, and several doctorate degrees from University of South Australia and City University of Hong Kong.
A specialist in mergers and acquisitions, strategic management and turnaround operations, Dr Chow has over 25 years of experience in managing listed companies in manufacturing, marketing and financial services. He has overseen the IPOs of more than 30 companies in Hong Kong, China, and abroad.
Dr. Chow is the Director of Celsion Corporation (AMEX: CLN) and Director of Medifocus Inc. (TSXV-MFS, OTC-MDFZF).

Mr. Chan Chi On, Derek is the founder and chairman of Halcyon Capital Limited and Halcyon Securities Limited, which is engaged in corporate finance and securities businesses in Hong Kong respectively.
Mr. Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences (majoring in Economics) and from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology with a Master degree in Business Administration.
He has worked for the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (“SEHK”) for more than 7 years and has been executive director of Haitong International Securities Group Limited (formerly Taifook Securities Group Limited) and head of its corporate finance division for 16 years. He is an independent non-executive director of Yuexiu REIT Asset Management Limited, Longfor Properties Co. Limited and China Conch Venture Holdings Limited, all of which are listed on the SEHK. Mr Chan is a member of the Investment Committee of the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Services Centre.
He is also a co-author of a book on listing procedures and securities rules and regulations in Hong Kong. Mr. Chan has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Andy joined the Hong Kong Christian Service as a school social worker after he graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in mid 80s. Andy pursued his master degree in 1988 in Columbia University in New York City.
He worked briefly in foster care and family counselling service before he joined the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong as Assistant Director in 1991. In 1999, Andy joined the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong ( SRACP ) and became its Chief Executive in 2005. SRACP is the only government subvented NGO in Hong Kong providing comprehensive support to prison inmates and ex-offenders.
Andy retired from SRACP in September 2019, but is still active in community services. He is the founding member, council member and the convener of Social Enterprise Endorsement Scheme ( SEE Mark ) of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Social Enterprises Limited (HKGCSE).
Presently, he is also the chairman of Advisory Committee of the Social Work Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, adviser of the Office of the Ombudsman, Hong Kong, member of the Post-Release Supervision Board, as well as the Observer of the Independent Police Complaints Council.

Richard is an experienced and seasoned banking and investment professional. He started his career in commercial lending, and extended into investment banking initially with credit research and then in special situation investment and debt restructuring in the nineties. He took on business development role and established extensive relationship with sovereign wealth funds, commercial banks, insurance companies, alternative asset managers including hedge funds, private equity funds, and debt / mezzanine funds. Today, he continued to advise his relationships with regards to their expansion and acquisition strategy with his wealth of knowledge and contacts in the region. He also assisted his other relationships with regards to their acquisition and funding needs in real estate investment and resources investment. His last position was CEO and co-founder of Q Fund Management – a specialist in fundamental equity investment in China.
Richard is passionate in community work especially with youths and in education. He served as a core member of the firm Philanthropy Committee. He is currently giving his time to mentoring university students and young entrepreneurs. He also participates in venture circle to assist businesses that are financially minded and socially conscious.
Richard is bilingual in English and Mandarin; and has residency status in Hong Kong and Singapore. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Oregon in computer science in 1986, and a MBA degree from New York University Stern School of Business in 1994. He was awarded a Doctoral degree from the City University of Hong Kong in Social Impact Investments in 2018.
He enjoys reading, traveling, hiking during his free time. He and his wife live in Hong Kong with their four children.

Mr. Yeo Hiok Keat is the General Manager of Project Dignity, an award-winning social enterprise headquartered in Singapore that specialises in a range of unique experiences including cooking classes and community-focused events. Combining innovative business solutions with empowerment, the street food industry was transformed through Dignity Kitchen™, Asia’s first social enterprise food court run by differently abled and disadvantaged.
As a founding member of Project Dignity, Hiok Keat ventured into the unknown with a passion to empower the disabled and disadvantaged. He believes that every individual can achieve his potential and seeks to give individuals with disabilities and disadvantages more than a fair chance to do so.
He oversees the development of an innovative training programme, and many successful job placements for Person with Disabilities (PWD) and disadvantaged persons.
He has worked with diverse group of special needs including Person with Disabilities, Person with Mental Illness and the socially excluded. Hiok Keat and his team are sensitive to the needs of their trainees, and creative in their solutions for workplace challenges. These special traits not only commanded respect from them but also increases their effectiveness in the training of these trainees and their employers.
Prior to Project Dignity, Hiok Keat was involved in the fund management of the Local Enterprise and Association Development (LEAD) Programme for a local industry association.
In 2008, together with 4 associates, they developed the first E-learning training platform on the trading of financial instruments.
