Doris founded this private enterprise to offer point-to-point transportation services for wheelchair users. Up to Jun 2019, we have 3 barrier-free taxis or 1 barrier-free hire car that allow wheelchair users to board directly and provide a legal and safe transportation means for wheelchair users and their caregivers. Up to Mar 2019, we have successfully completed over 150,000 barrier-free trips

Apart from developing barrier-free transportation, the Diamond Cab team is dedicated to changing the barrier-free culture with different social innovations. One of the initiatives is called Diamond Leisure starting from 2014, with the financial support of charity sponsorship, we collaborate with the privately-owned elderly homes and organize weekly barrier-free evening outings for the elders who are suffering from loneliness.

Doris was awarded the Young Social Entrepreneur Award 2011, Capital Leaders of Excellence 2011, Finalist (Asia Pacific) of Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2013, and The Purpose Economy Asia 100 respectively. Diamond Cab is the Highly Commended International Social Enterprise of the Year at UK Social Enterprise Awards 2012, The Fifth of My Favorite Best Five Social Enterprises in 2013, The 5th HK Outstanding Citizenship Bronze Award, and Hong Kong Winner of Chivas The Venture, one of the 20 global finalists.
